I do not believe this is an effective ad. Although the girl in the picture is beautiful and the text in minimal but shocking, I do not think it is the best ad that BMW could have come up with. Although I understand the connection between a used car and a non-virgin woman, it is demeaning to women to compare them to a used car.
Alghough men may like the ad, women would be turned off by this. Women buy cars also, however this ad would not make them want to buy a BMW used car at all.
