This Ralph Lauren jeans ad caused major controversy when it first appeared. The model in the picture is extremely photoshopped. The woman's head is larger than the width of her waist, an impossible porportion! This ad is horrible because it says that an already incredibly thin model is not thin enough. Showing this image sets a literally impossible standard for women. In order to appear on a Ralph Lauren ad, you must be literally be dead to be thin enough.
